New Orleanian Frank Relle (b. 1978) has created one of the most iconic and significant folios of work to emerge from post-Katrina New Orleans. Relle’s time lapse images capture the displacement, alienation and surreal beauty of devastated areas of New Orleans after the floods, remind us of the paradoxical nature of our existence, that even amidst great tragegy and loss, there can be a stark beauty.
